A CONFERENCE ON THE ISLAMIC JURISPRUDENCE IN A CHANGING WORLD

This conference is a part of a series of conferences on the evolution of jurisprudence sciences in Oman. It discussed the Islamic jurisprudence in this changing world. Panelists were high profile and renowned scholars and professors who are highly appreciated and respected by the ministry, which hoped they will spare no efforts to achieve the desired goals and to help find solutions to the issues they were facing.
Through the seven themes of the conference, we highlight the public and private framework of this change, its implications and what does the mind of legislator bring to cater to the community need of knowledge and to guide the human brain to the right path in this bewildered world. The conference coincided with the ministry 10th anniversary, ten years since its inception to the 10th conference this year, in an uninterrupted string, with an emphasis of the necessity of continued renewal, combining the fixed and variable elements, inspiring the direction from our fixed assets and our varying community.
