The traveling exhibition “Message of Islam: religious tolerance in Oman” was held for 17 days at St. James Centre for Creativity in La Valletta. Inaugurated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malta, George Vella, the event was organized on the occasion of the commemoration of the 40th anniversary of the establishment of relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Malta in 1974.
The exhibition came at a delicate moment, with scenes of violence and extremism affecting several parts of the world and calling for the necessity to upgrade the principles of tolerance, understanding and coexistence, said the Minister.
