The 21st exhibition was held at the Antwerp Faculty of Comparative Religions under the aegis of the University of Brussels. Belgian personalities, representing the Ministry of Culture, the Mayor of Antwerp, the Catholic Church, the presidency of the University and a minister of state called this positive initiative as an example to rectify the negative image of Muslims and highlight at the same time the efforts of the Omani Ministry of Religious Affairs to convey the true message of Islam.
The President of the Belgian University has particularly stressed the policy of tolerance adopted by the Sultanate of Oman in its relations with other religions. The representative of the Catholic Church said the exhibition has special significance in that it helps to know the religious policy of the Sultanate based on respect for the beliefs and traditions of the people of other faiths.
The exhibition has attracted a large audience of archbishops of churches, leaders of prayer, university professors, students and persons interested in religious matters.Antwerp, September – October 3, 2012
